ABSTRACT

This study was carried out in order to detect the seroprevalence of visceral leishmaniasis in the Istanbul province between September-November 2003. A total of 152 blood sera were examined for anti-Leishmania infantum IgG antibodies by IFAT. IgG antibodies were not detected in the samples.
