ABSTRACT
The students of the primary schools in a village of Sivas were screened for a second time for Pediculus spp., especially for Pediculus capitis after a one year interval. The hair, scalp and collars of the clothes of each student were inspected for the eggs, nymphs or adults of head and body lice. A total of 366 students (197 boys and 169 girls) were inspected and we found either eggs or adults of Pediculus capitis only in two girls. Signs of fleas on the necks of undershirts of 64 students (28 boys and 36 girls) were seen. We found no Pediculus corporis eggs, nymphs or adults in any of the students.
