ABSTRACT
Forty-one (23 females, 18 males) Neurergus strauchii (spotted salamanders) collected in Malatya and Bitlis, were examined for helminths in 2001-2002. In this study, 1 helminth species, Cosmocerca commutata (Nematoda) was found. This study is the first helminthological research on spotted salamanders in the world. Also, this is the first time the parasite of frogs has been reported in Neurergus strauchii.
