ABSTRACT
Cyrnea colini Cram, 1927 and Capillaria spp. were detected during the necropsy of 7 wild quail killed during the hunting season. Four male and 4 female Cyrnea colini were found in the proventriculus of 5 quail and the larvae of 16 Capillaria spp. were found in the small intestines of 2 quail. The morphological features of the nematodes were described and the important features were photographed. Both of these have been evaluated and included in the present article. This is the first time that wild quail have been reported to be the host of Cyrnea colini and Capillaria spp., in Turkey.
