ABSTRACT

Ceratothoa oestroides (Risso, 1826), is an ectoparasite found in a variety of fish species. This parasite was detected on caudal pedoncule of black seabram (Spondyliosoma cantharus) hunted in Balıkesir. This is the first report of C. oestroides in the black seabram (Spondyliosoma cantharus).
