ABSTRACT
Schistosoma haematobium is one of the important causes of haematuria in some parts of the world. We present a 16-yearold Ghanaian male who applied to our hospital with haematuria. Schistosoma haematobium eggs were found in his urine sediment. The epidemiological and clinical significance of S. haematobium has been discussed in detail because S. haematobium cases are rarely seen and are generally imported in Turkey.
