ABSTRACT

Hydatid cyst is an infectious disease caused by Echinococcus granulosus, transmitted by dogs and encountered mostly in liver and lungs. As the central nervous system involvement is considered, retrobulber disease is seen pretty rarely. In this subject; a patient complaining from an impaired vision diagnosed as hydatid cyst disease via radiological imagings and histopathological findings. (Turkiye Parazitol Derg 2015; 39: 310-2)
