ABSTRACT

Parasitic isopods were investigated in marine fishes and decapods from the Aegean Sea during 1997-1998. A total of 10 species belonging to families Cymothoidae, Gnathiidae and Bopyridae was collected from various body parts of fishes and decapods. Ceratothoa capri and Paragnathia formica have been recorded for the first time from Turkish coasts.
